PRECISION SHAFT COLLECTION
Custom precision shafts built around functional fits, rotational accuracy and measurable geometric control for motors, gearboxes, robotics and industrial OEM equipment.

AT-A-GLANCE
Precision is not a single number. It is a controlled combination of dimensions, form, relationship and finish, specified where the assembly needs it.
WHAT IS A PRECISION SHAFT?
In a real assembly, bearing journals, shoulders, gear seats, coupling interfaces and sealing areas do different jobs. A useful shaft drawing makes those functions visible, then applies the right size, geometry and surface requirements to each area.
TOPSHAFT reviews the manufacturing route around your part—not a blanket claim across every surface. CNC machining, grinding, heat treatment and inspection are selected after the drawing and functional requirements are understood.
PRECISION, FEATURE BY FEATURE
Diameters and lengths for bearing, seal and mating-part fits.
Roundness and cylindricity where a rotating surface must behave consistently.
Runout, coaxiality and straightness between critical references.
Turning or grinding finishes chosen for function, wear and fit.

MACHINING AND FINISHING
Precision shaft manufacturing can combine CNC turning, milling, drilling, spline or keyway operations, heat treatment and grinding. The route depends on the material condition, geometry and surfaces that matter to the assembly.
MEASURABLE CONTROL
Runout, straightness, journal diameter, feature location and surface requirements are checked using an inspection approach suited to the part and agreed order requirements. Critical measurement records or documentation can be discussed during quotation.

COST AND DFM
Tighter tolerances, grinding and expanded inspection are valuable when they protect a real assembly interface. They can add unnecessary cost when applied everywhere without a functional reason.

FROM DRAWING TO SUPPLY
Whether the part is a motor shaft, a gear shaft or a unique hybrid design, the same starting point applies: understand the function, build the right manufacturing route, and verify the important features.
